What are your essential open source software tools in the library?

It would be useful to hear your comments about what you are using and any other comments you may wish to add.

• I like Freemind as already mentioned
• OpenOffice for the eventual eplacement for MS Office
• Cobian backup across a network
• Faststone a great little graphics manager
